RDF is the final product of a “selection, separation, recovery and recycling of non-dangerous wastes” process.
Once recyclable materials have been selected and separated from rubbish, the remaining refuse is processed and converted into RDF, stabilizing chemical characteristics and avoiding fermentation.
RDF is a fuel as defined by Italian law
(“Ronchi” Decree, i.e. DM 22/97, DM 5/2/98 and standard UNI 9903).
